Answers about tile installation, preparation and planning. Can any tile or porcelain be installed around a fireplace? No. The finish has to suit the specific fireplace and its clearance requirements. Send the model or manual if available, and we will use it when confirming the installation details. Who confirms fireplace clearances? The fireplace manufacturer and responsible fireplace trade govern the required clearances. We complete the tile work around those confirmed requirements. Can a porcelain panel wrap an outside corner? Often, but the right edge detail depends on the selected panel and where the corner sits. We confirm that detail after booking and before cutting. What should I send for a fireplace tile estimate? Start with your city and the approximate size of the surround. Add the tile size, fireplace model or photos if you have them.
