Send the project address, approximate measurements, a few room photos and the tile size or product link if you have chosen it. That is enough for us to prepare a preliminary written estimate. If the project is in a condominium or managed building, mention that now; access and building details can be confirmed after booking. - Room and access - Selected material - Existing surface - Edges and transitions Bookmatched blue-grey porcelain-slab fireplace framed by oak shelving Mitred marble-look porcelain fireplace return with a bronze shadow gap ## Make the shower, floor and threshold read as one room A drain, niche, bench, glass line and doorway all compete for the same layout. Looking at the chosen tile against the full room helps place the joints and cuts where they make sense, while the existing surface determines what preparation belongs behind the finish. You do not need every finish decision made before you request an estimate. * ### Tell us about the project Send the address, approximate measurements, a few photos and the tile information if you have it. ### Receive your written estimate We review what you send and provide a preliminary estimate showing the tile work and price included. ### Approve and book When you are ready to proceed, approve the estimate and we will arrange an installation date. ### Confirm the final details After booking, we confirm the layout, grout and edge details with you before the installation begins. Planning for the address ## Prepare the Ajax project for both scope and submission. You do not need to resolve these items before requesting an estimate. After booking, use the official information for the project address to confirm any building, access or other-trade requirements that apply. 01 ### Mention a managed building Tell us if the project is in a condominium or another managed property. You do not need the full building package to request an estimate. 02 ### Confirm access after booking Elevator time, loading, work hours and common-area protection can be arranged after you approve the estimate and book. 03 ### Check the wider renovation Tile replacement alone may not require municipal approval. Answers about tile installation, preparation and planning. What should I send for a tile installation estimate in Ajax? Send the project address, approximate measurements, a few clear photos and the tile size or product link if you have chosen it. Mention any removal, floor warming or other work you want included. Does a tile project in Ajax need a building permit? The answer depends on the complete renovation, not the tile finish by itself. Use the linked Town of Ajax resource for the project address, especially when walls, structure, plumbing, mechanical systems or room use change. Electrical work follows a separate approval path through the Electrical Safety Authority. What existing-room details matter for tile work in Ajax? Send a few room photos and mention any stairs, parking or access concern you already know about. Detailed arrangements can be confirmed after booking. Which tile projects can Mallet Tile plan in Ajax? Mallet Tile installs bathroom and shower tile, floors, kitchen backsplashes, large-format tile, mosaics, fireplaces and heated tile floors. Your written estimate shows the tile work included; final installation details are confirmed after booking. ## Request an estimate for your tile project.
