About Mallet Tile
Mallet Tile installs the tile selected for bathrooms, showers, floors, backsplashes, fireplaces and feature surfaces. We begin with the receiving surface, the actual material and every edge or transition the finished work needs to meet.
How we approach the work
A useful conversation does more than name the room. It brings the tile, surface, layout, access and connected trades into one scope so important assumptions do not stay hidden.
Room photos and an on-site check, when needed, help identify flatness, movement, moisture exposure, existing finishes and transitions that may affect preparation.
Tile dimensions, thickness, pattern and edge details influence layout, handling, cuts and the products used to set it.
Doorways, drains, niches, cabinets, outlets and adjoining floors belong in the layout discussion before material is cut.
Plumbing, electrical, structural, cabinetry and other responsibilities should be identified clearly rather than folded into the tile scope by assumption.
From enquiry to installation
Each stage resolves a different part of the project. The sequence stays flexible when an existing condition needs a closer look.
Send the address, room photos, measurements, selected tile if known and a plain-language description of what is changing.
Review preparation, demolition, layout, edges, transitions, access and the parts that may belong to another trade.
Resolve the details that affect cuts, joint positions, drains, niches, thresholds and the finished handoff.
Read what is included, what still needs confirmation and the next step before installation dates are chosen.
A useful starting point
Wide room photos, close views of the receiving surface and transitions, measurements and the tile information give the estimate useful context. If you are still choosing material, say so; the scope can record what remains open without pretending it is already settled.

Useful answers
Use these answers as a starting point, then share the details that are specific to the actual project.
No. Mallet Tile installs the material you select. We can discuss how tile size, thickness, pattern and edge details affect the installation, but the material purchase remains separate.
The estimate pathway covers bathrooms, tiled showers, floors, kitchen backsplashes, fireplaces, heated tile floors, mosaics, large-format tile and porcelain slab installation.
Send the project address, overall room photos, close views of the existing surface and transitions, measurements, tile details if known, access information and the parts of the room you want included.
Identify that work at the start. The written scope should separate tile installation from responsibilities that need another qualified trade or a separate approval.
Share the material, measurements and project details. We will begin with a written estimate.
