For a house, start with room photos, measurements, tile details and the condition of the existing surface. For a condominium, also include the floor level, service-elevator booking process, loading or parking arrangements, permitted work hours, protection requirements and any building forms. Those details can change how materials, tools and debris move through the property.

Confirm the building's renovation process first. Management may need forms, insurance documents, material details, work hours, elevator reservations or protection plans before a date can be scheduled. Sharing those rules with the estimate request helps prevent access and timing conflicts later.
What access details matter for a Toronto condominium?
