What should a contractor send first?
Start with the project location, the areas being tiled, approximate quantities and requested timing. Existing drawings or a finish schedule are helpful if available. We will ask for any further details needed to prepare the estimate.
Can the estimate separate optional or unconfirmed work?
Yes. Clearly identify alternates, allowances and conditions that still need review so they do not read as confirmed installation work.
How should connected trades be handled?
List the plumbing, electrical, structural, glazing, cabinetry and other work meeting the tile scope. The estimate should identify the handoff rather than assuming another trade is included.
Does Mallet Tile supply the tile?
No. Mallet Tile installs the selected material. The project team should identify who supplies tile, trims, drains, profiles and other specified components.
