Does bathroom tile work always require a building permit?
No. Tile replacement alone does not always require one, but plumbing or structural changes may. The appropriate trade or municipality can confirm what applies to the full project.
Is bathroom waterproofing included?
Your written estimate will state whether waterproofing is included and which wet-area surfaces are covered.
Who handles plumbing and electric floor warming?
The appropriate licensed trades handle plumbing and electrical connections. Your estimate will separate their work from the tile installation.
What should I send for a bathroom tile estimate?
Tell us your city, which bathroom surfaces you want tiled and their approximate size. Add the tile size if known, and mention any removal, niche, bench or floor warming you want included. Photos are helpful if you have them.
Does replacing shower wall tile mean rebuilding the base?
It depends on the existing base and its waterproof connection to the walls, not just on the visible tile. Tell us whether you want the walls, floor or both changed. We’ll outline the tile work included in your estimate; you do not need to settle the construction details before contacting us.
