The estimate should identify: Exact approved heating system and coverage plan; Substrate, membrane and finished-height plan; Notification holder and inspection timing; Required test records and responsible party; Branch circuit, thermostat, sensor and final connection owner. The written estimate should name any condition that still needs an on-site check rather than treating it as already confirmed.

Does electric in-floor heating require an ESA notification?
Electrical Safety Authority guidance says in-floor heating cables or radiant pads require a notification of work and inspection before they are covered. Confirm the current requirement and responsible notification holder for the project.
Who connects a heated floor thermostat?
Branch circuit wiring and electrical connections should be assigned to the appropriate Licensed Electrical Contractor. The scope should also identify who installs and connects the floor sensor.
How is the heating cable protected during tile work?
Use the exact manufacturer procedure, routing rules and required testing or monitoring. Record who performs each check and preserve the results before the cable is covered.
Can floor warming go inside a shower?
Only when the specific listed system, waterproofing assembly, electrical design and manufacturer instructions permit that use. Do not infer wet-area approval from a product family name.
