Radiant In-Floor Electric Tile Warming
Bring warmth underfoot to your bathroom, kitchen or entryway. We install heated tile floors in Oakville as part of a new floor installation, so the warming system is considered before the tile goes down.

Installation details
Under-tile heating is installed with the new floor. Mention it early so it can be included in the proposed work rather than added after the tile is down.
The heating system, membrane, mortar and tile need to be compatible. The selected system determines the cable arrangement and installation requirements.
Cable checks follow the manufacturer's requirements, with readings recorded at the relevant installation stages.
The new floor's layers affect its finished height. Doorways and transitions to adjoining rooms need to be considered; a completely flush transition is not possible in every project.
The thermostat, sensor and electrical connection follow the selected system's requirements. The estimate should distinguish the heating installation from any electrical work that needs another trade.

Questions answered
Running cost depends on the heated area, the selected system, electricity rates and how long it runs. A thermostat can schedule warmth for the times you use the room. A single daily-cost figure is not reliable for every floor.
No heating system can promise that tile or grout will never crack. Base preparation, the tile assembly and movement accommodation matter as well. The membrane must be suitable for the selected floor and heating system.
The cable needs the checks specified by its manufacturer at the relevant installation stages, with the results recorded. These checks help identify damage while the work is in progress. The particular product's instructions govern the tests required.
For the under-tile cable system described here, the heating is installed as part of the new floor assembly, not added on top of the finished tile. Tell us whether the old floor is still in place so removal and preparation can be included in the proposed scope where needed.
Tell us what you would like tiled, your location and the measurements of each area. We will review the details for your preliminary estimate.
